Brief history
The SPCA Windhoek was founded in 1949 and is a charitable organisation that aims to ensure the protection and prevention of cruelty to animals. The SPCA plays a pivotal role in rescuing and assisting maltreated, abandoned, and abused animals by providing care and treatment to animals in need.

Services offered to the community
Currently, we offer all SPCA services where possible. Including but not limited to:

• Stray/surrender Intake

• Adoption Centre

• Volunteer Program

• Humane Education

• Community Outreach

• Boarding for cats, dogs, and small animals

• Merchandise, cat and dog food
